Time to start thinking of Thanksgiving

The seasons have gone by so fast. Does the stress of the upcoming holidays have you worried? Does your family find itself in a pinch? If you're suffering a shortage of food, you may be able to get a Thanksgiving food box.

The food is free to low-income households, and typically includes many items considered Thanksgiving fare: potatoes, dinner rolls, stuffing, etc. (A turkey or other meat is not included due to storage limitations.)

Ordering starts Oct. 31, 2024, and is limited to 400 households. Orders are taken by phone only, and ordering will close as soon as the limit is reached.

See below for more limitations:

  • Limit of one box per household.

  • Each household must call in its order personally (no multiple or bulk orders accepted).

  • No delivery is available (no exceptions).

  • Person picking up must possess ID and proof of address matching the person who placed the order.

For more information, call our Thanksgiving box order line starting Oct. 31 at 503-595-2290. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays.
